The Advantages of Intercultural Marriage

Everything in the world has each pair, such as male and female. They are difference but completed each other. The man need a woman to help him and the woman need a man to keep her. The way to unite them is a marriage. In Indonesia every ethnic has a rule and regulation about marriage. Meanwhile, Indonesian has a lot of ethnics. So, it enable to someone married with another that has different culture it known as intercultural marriage.

Getting married with someone that has different culture actually has own advantages. We can enrich our knowledge about another culture trough our couple. They can share about their culture and more than it wife and husband have to follow their couple culture. Beside that, we as Indonesian people can show up to others people in the world that our motto ‘Bhineka Tuggal Ika’ have realized. We are united in our differences. We can receive differentiation for our united.  Some of people say that married with someone that has different culture will bring up the problem such as misunderstanding or incompatibility of their rule and regulation of culture so it can be damaged for their household. However I think all problem of differentiation can be solved by love and nature of mutual respect.

Recently Intercultural marriage is axis in Indonesia. It is because Indonesian has a lot of different cultural and it can be evidence that we as Indonesian can realize our motto. It proves that intercultural marriages bring up the advantages. So, do not ever be afraid if you will do intercultural marriage.
